Thomas, a resident of Roslyn, N.Y., is currently New York State’s AOH Editor, a position he has held since 2004. He has also served as President of the Suffolk County Board of the AOH, as well as President of Division 8, in Selden, N.Y.

The oldest of three children born to Thomas and Marilyn (Flinn) McKenna, Thomas traces his Irish roots to Counties Monaghan and Tyrone. Thomas has worked in the grocery industry for more than 47 years, starting when he was in high school.

Thomas is an active member of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1500, and has served as a shop steward and as a member of union contract negotiating committees.
