John F Timoney was born in Yonkers New York in 1964. His father was a NYC bus driver and his mother a nurse. He is the second oldest of six children. Richard O'Neill is the second of four children born to John and Veronica (Foley) O'Neill and traces his Irish roots to Counties Sligo, Armagh and Clare.
