Bronx County Aide to the Grand Marshal

Timothy O’Donoghue is the Bronx County Aide to the Grand Marshal of the 2016 NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Timothy O’Donoghue is the oldest of six children of John and Ann O’Donoghue, born in Goleen, County Cork. He attended St. Finbarr’s secondary school in Cork. Timothy immigrated to New York in 1985 and joined Local 18A Cement & Concrete Workers Union. As a member of Local 18A Cement & Concrete Workers Union, he has worked various projects throughout the city for the past 30 years. In 2000 Timothy joined Division Seven, Ancient Order of Hibernians in the Bronx and has been president of the division for the past eight years. He married Margie Donoghue in 1997 and they have one son, Thomas. They currently reside in the Kingsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx.
