Suffolk County Aide: William J. Gorham
William Gorham is the first of three children born to William and Lois (Lapin) Gorham. William was raised in Levittown, Long Island where he attended Island Trees High School. William was president of his construction corporation for 25 years and became a New York State Licensed Real-Estate Appraiser in 2001 and currently owns a Home Inspection business.
William is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Suffolk County Board; a Board member of A.O.H. Division 9, Port Jefferson, NY, and an officer of the North Brookhaven Hibernians Corporation. William is a member of the Suffolk County Tara Court Degree Team and was named Hibernian of the Year by Division 9, Port Jefferson in 2014.
William has volunteered numerous hours hosting and managing charity events and fundraisers to benefit the less fortunate and for the promotion of Irish culture in Suffolk County. In 2013, William with other Hibernians and the town of Brookhaven opened a new A.O.H. Hall and Irish Cultural Center in Mount Sinai NY.
William is the proud father of two children William IV, and Eric.
