Rockland County Aide: Daniel Donohue

Daniel was born in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx and traced his Irish heritage through his paternal grandparents to Co. Offaly and Mayo and through his mother to Ballingarry, Co. Limerick from the 1700’s. Daniel
attended elementary school at St. Paul’s on McLean Ave., Yonkers and St. Anthony School in Nanuet. He attended Clarkstown South High School and Rockland Community College before earning a B.S. in Marketing and an M.B.A in Business Management from St. Thomas Aquinas College.

Daniel has spent 23 years in the office equipment industry working with startup businesses, family businesses, and multi-billion-dollar companies. He is currently the Director of Sales and Marketing at Craftmaster Hardware, which provides security hardware for various industries throughout the United States.

Daniel Donohue joined the A.O.H. as a member of Division 2 in New City in 2010 and subsequently joined Division 1 in North Rockland. Daniel has served as Vice President and is the President of Division 1 for the past 7 years and under his leadership the division has participated in many events promoting Irish culture, events such as: Communion Breakfasts, St. Patrick’s Day Parties at NYS Veterans Home, marching in local parades and participating in local government events, Annual Scholarship Dinner Dances and 9/11 Mass at Marian Shrine. Daniel currently resides in New City with his wife Ann and daughter Shannon.
