The NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade will stop at Noon on March 17th to mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the victims of the pandemic.

The parade will turn south towards ground zero and Cardinal Dolan will say a prayer on the steps of St. Patrick’s Cathedral with colorguard’s from the FDNY, NYPD, the 69th Regiment and Port Authority Police Department.

Members of the Fire Department, Police Department, Port Authority Police and 69th regiment will then play Taps and Amazing Grace after which the parade will resume and continue up Fifth Avenue.
