Julie Walsh grew up in Bayridge, Brooklyn, and is one of 11 children born to Gene and Margaret Reilly from County Longford, and County Cavan respectively. Her family owned the Leiv Ericksson Bar in Bayridge for over 40 years, and Julie ran the family business. Julie is a founding member of LAOH Division 22, Kings County and for the past 25 years, she has served as Treasurer. Julie was a Deputy Marshal of the Bayridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade in 2011 and was a recipient of the St. Bridget’s award in 2015.

Julie is married to her husband Pat for 29 years, and they are the proud parents of two daughters. Julie is very proud of her Irish heritage and is looking forward to marching with Grand Marshal James Callaghan in the 2022 NYC St Patrick’s Day Parade
