Orange County Aide to the Grand Marshal

James O’Malley is the second son of Edward and Patricia O’Malley and grew up in the Marble Hill section of the Bronx. James is a second-generation Irish with grandparents from counties Mayo and Meath. James was educated at St. John’s Grammar School Kingsbridge in the Bronx, Manhattan Prep school, and Manhattan College. Following his education, James began a business career working as an International Banking Officer and commuted to Manhattan before working locally in Orange county at Chase Bank culminating as a Private Banker and Broker before retiring. Jim is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division Four for fifteen years in Middletown and currently is the Treasurer of the Division, and the Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Day Committee. In 2019, James was selected as an Aide to the Grand Marshal for the Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade.

James and his wife Jayne of forty years live in the Town of Wallkill in Orange County, where he volunteers at a pet shelter and the local hospital where his wife also works as a nurse.
