Michael McKeever is one of seven children born to Michael and Loretta McKeever. He and his siblings, Maryellen Whalen, Peter, Susan Yaworsky, Kevin, Joanne O’Neill, and James trace their roots to Counties Armagh and Down.  Michael attended Curtis High School, graduating in 1974, and State University College of Oneonta, graduating in 1979.  Michael has served as a numismatist for 52-years, and has worked for companies such as Ameriprise Financial Services, Fuji Bank, Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Bank Leu Ltd, Banco Di Sicilia and Swiss Bank Corporation. Michael’s interests include history and economics with a focus on Irish history. Michael has dual citizenship, US and Ireland. He enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking and sailing.  Michael is involved in various organizations. He is a member of AOH Division 1 where he serves as Historian.  He has been involved in the NYC Friendly Sons of St. Patrick for the last six years, and is a member of the New York City Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree. Michael has been married to Ginny Ryan, who traces her roots to Counties Cork and Tipperary, since 1985, and they welcomed their son Tommy in 1991.  He is an active parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Staten Island where he serves as a Eucharistic Minister.
