William “Bill” Corrigan is the fifth of six children born and raised in South Ozone Park,Queens, to Francis and Mary (nee Gallahue) Corrigan. He traces his Irish heritage to County Fermanagh and from Limerick. Bill attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help elementary school,Cathedral Prep high school, and St. Francis College in Brooklyn. Bill worked at British Airways for 40 years where he served in various roles before retiring as a Duty Maintenance
Manager at JFK airport. Since his retirement, he has worked with NYU Langone’s Real Estate and Facilities Department in Mineola, Long Island. Bill is a member of AOH Division 14 for over forty-five years and has served in most chairs. Currently he is the Division 14 President and Queens County Board
Treasurer. Bill began marching in the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade at the tender age of 5, and today he has the honor to chair the Division’s Saint Patrick’s Day celebration, and organizes their march up 5th Ave. Bill has been married to his loving wife Loretta for over forty years, and they have three wonderful children, and six grandchildren. Bill is very active in the parish of Our Lady of Hope in Carle Place where he serves as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister.
