Westchester County Aide to the Grand Marshal

Ann Guerin Haugh was born in Liscannor, County Clare, Ireland, and is the fourth of five children born to Brigid (nee MacDonagh) and John Guerin.  She was educated at the local National and Secondary Schools run by the Sisters of Mercy.  Ann emigrated to New Jersey, and lived with her uncle and aunt, before starting work in lower Manhattan.  Ann became an active member of the Gaelic League and enjoyed attending events at Gaelic Park.  Over the years, Ann has marched annually in New York City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade with County Clare, the Council of Gaelic Societies and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.  Ann Haugh is an active member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 16 in Westchester County where she is currently president of the Division. 

Ann and her late husband, Thomas Haugh (who was also from County Clare), are the proud parents to two sons and a daughter, and four grandchildren.  Ann currently resides in Mount Kisco, New York where she is active in the parish of St. Francis of Assisi.
